Has anyone else ever noticed how some actors and actresses cease to age? It's like they reach a certain milestone and then decide, "I've gotten to that sweet spot in life and just don't feel aging further will do me any good, so I simply won't do it anymore."
For example, I'm watching a movie with Lou Diamond Phillips, and I swear that guy has looked essentially the same for the last decade.
Is this just my imagination? Do they have access to secret cryogenic technology that allows them to be put on ice until their agent scores them a gig? Thoughts, theories, speculations?

Not quite related, because she definitely did age, but Gillian Anderson looks hotter now than she did back in the 90s, it's like something out of that filey show about that X. In the spirit of equality: Pierce Brosnan also looks more attractive now that he's gone gray.

Edited by The First Aifos: 10/9/2025 4:17:48 PMI would imagine they're probably pouring a lot more money than most people do into keeping themselves looking good. Looking good is, unfortunately, a big part of their job. As sad as it is to say, people rarely want ugly actors in their movies.

He was in a movie with cryogenic tanks. Maybe it wasn't fiction! Kieth David (new Zavala) has aged pretty well. So has Rob Lowe who is 64.

Ralph Macchio has aged better than anyone ever I think
