Any update from the PC team on the stuttering/jitter issue?
Hi its been a month since I saw a post from a bungie account acknowledging this issue in this forum and its still in the game after the update today. I already provided dxdiag file and am happy to provide another if it would help in their research. Any update is appreciated.

1 ReplyNothing man. They haven’t put out an optimization patch in years and the whole removal of dedicated full screen was a nail in the coffin for performance too.

Yes, atm on moon and framepacing issues all over the place. Also worth mentioning, my friend joined me the other day and it started to jitter stutter more, we play the game all the time. By me it started again 2-3weeks ago. They finally fixed it for some , me incl. with 9.0.0.8 update, but now its back again. this is how it looks like, driver forced vsync 144Hz. Pay attention to fps in upper right corner, few times it goes above 144HZ limit too. 1 ReplyI have a AMD 3700x (Old CPU) and I have stuttering as well, but Ive noticed when I stutter, I also have some type of lag as well. Like my brother and I was playing and he's fussing at me cuz he thinks I am kidding around with him and not moving, but I was moving on my screen. The last 3-4 days the servers have been laggy and my stuttering had gotten worse. I rebooted my router/modem and for now its better, but not fixed. I went back to AMD Drivers 25.9.1 they seem to work better then the newest 25.9.2 drivers, they kept crashing me, lagging the hell out of me and getting Query Timeouts every 10 mins or so. Id check drivers 1st because it doesn't affect my RTX 2600 system at all. I do play at High/Medium settings on my machine at 1080p mostly. 6700XT/16GB DDR 4/3700x CPU and 1gig download and 50Mbps connection. The servers are just messed up right now for a lot of people.

My stuttering gets so bad that the game freezes and nearly crashes if I have a controller and a headset both plugged into my PC. Just the controller is only somewhat better. Ultimately I’ve had to use KB/M controls just to get my PC to not lose its mind. I think they’ve been messing with the way the game processes USB inputs or something, if the patch notes are anything to go by, and it is making things go haywire.
