I wrote 5000 words and moving the mouse a lot. Now my right hand is cramped. But that's the most productive I've been for a long time.

I ground a chunk off of a finger the other day with a disc sander. It's in like exactly the wrong spot to be using a keyboard, doing anything with right click, and using RT/R2. Pay attention to the power tools....

One time I played piano for 3 hours straight practicing for a concert. My hands never have hurt so much. But I got a lot done. Then I proceeded to play clarinet, and when I took my hands off my fingers were stuck in the same position. Anyway happy you got some good work done.

As someone who works an office job, I know the pain.

Bad news about the hand cramp. Great news on the progress! I am right handed and used the mouse with my right for years. Eventually, I taught myself to use the mouse with my left (still set for the right handed clicks) quite a while ago. If your keyboard has a dedicated number pad, you actually get better ergonomics with the mouse on the left. The letter keys end up centred to your body with a left side mouse since most people will shift the keyboard right or left to accommodate mouse space. It took some work to relearn, but my hands don't bother me as much after a long day typing.
