Playing comp for the first time since placement matches, I got my courage up to go for it, and halfway through the match I got Anteater error code (it's NOT on my end)... then I suddenly load back into the same match, play for ~30 seconds, and get Bat error code. Kicked to orbit with a SUSPENSION notice!!
Why the eff would anyone even bother playing comp if it can result in us ending up banned from the game because of your crap servers??? I've never quit a comp match, I've barely played comp at all, and I'm already effing suspended.
So pissed off right now.

First thing you do if you get error code and the game trying to reconnect into the lobby again is to alt f4 and open the game right after you disconnect. If you let bungie reconnect you automatically you get bat error every single time :) This has been a thing since shadowkeep btw :v

Maybe Sony donates dedicated servers 💩

Bump. Just so there’s a higher likelihood of somebody eventually seeing this for you, boss. For no reason should the servers have screwed you bro, absolutely unfortunate and sad. Best of luck in life itself over the game just cus we all know it’s rough in game anymore, bud.

Bungie: If the players don’t mess with you, we sure will!

Same thing happened to me twice late Monday night running trials. Game connection started crapping the bed mid match. Got kicked to character screen. I finally got back into a match and boom, disconnected again. Then time out for 30 minutes. Good job Bungie. BTW, I checked my network stats, and there were NO issues. Low ping and zero packet loss.

Ran epic raid last night with clan. Had a guy who got at least 4 weasels in one encounter. According to him, he lives an hour from bungie.

Man I hate their error codes bc they all tell you to check your **** even if the code is a them side error.

The spaghetti code is effecting pve as well. I was being pummeled by the cabal void slag launcher weapon, (can't remember the name of it) in Reclaim and there was no Cabal on the map. The void damage was coming from a blank area on the map. Timers that run out in Pinnacle activities and kick players to orbit even though they had over 5 mins time left. I have avoided pvp entirely due to the less than desirable server state. I never liked when Bungie would punish players, it's such an archaic mentality considering the game is supposed to be for entertainment purposes and we are paying for it. Don't let it get to you, not worth it ruining your day.
