Power grind finally made me quit
I did 450 pre ash and iron. When ash and iron launched, i made it to 460. I realized how absolutely miserable playing d2 is now. We are forced to grind 1000 runs of something just to gain meaningless power levels as we are always capped. What is the point? It isnt fun. Pvp is not fun. I bought B4 when it launched and have been reminded of a game being fun and joyful to play. D2 has not been that since EoF launched. I am a d1 ttk player. I have almost 8500 hours. They finally made me hate the game.

they turned a high fantasy space wizard adventure into a number go up generator. like that's the entire point of what they've done, they want the grind to be the game. it's the only explanation for the portal and the removal of using planets to do things on. it doesn't help that with the complete removal of seasonal story, we have no reason to do ANYTHING except portal activities. it's absolutely miserable, i hope your quitting sticks and you find something meaningful and makes you happy.
