Iron Banner armor should be on a knockout system
Trying to get a full set, especially with the loot pool diluted with the crucible pool, is nuts.
It took 15 matches to get a full set on 1 character. And I am well over that for both my alternate characters who each only need 1 more piece.
For for future reference, events like Iron banner, FOTL, Dawning should have their own separate pool and gear should be on a knockout system like in the past.

I also noticed it took longer to finish the other two character armor sets

Should also be able to focus specific pieces. That way if we need a specific piece to be a specific type, our chances would be better. I’ve been grinding for a grenadier chest piece on the new IB armor all day and haven’t even had a single chest piece drops. Dozens of other armor drops, just not any chest pieces.

Took me 27 matches to get a complete set to drop. It's ridiculous... But Bungie needs those engagement metrics. And then the reward track weapons are T3 plus but drop with only one row of perks.... Making it a T2.
