Presage internal mission timer is too tight
I just spent the last hour running the presage mission to get lionfish as it was the focus and I never got a single one. The internal mission timer for presage (which is not mentioned anywhere) is waaaayyy too tight. 12 and a half minutes to get through all of the sections? Why not just make it 15 minutes like the score bonus timer? Hell I'd even take 13 minutes. The timer pops in and out and everyone I played with had no idea it even existed. Just get rid of it. It's an old mission without any unique loot. Why is there a timer in the portal version?

1 ReplyIs it even doable? They give you a minute to kill the final boss. Between DPS, killing ads, and activating the switches, is it even possible to get a kill under a minute? Especially since you and your Fireteam are at a significant Power disadvantage.

1 ReplyIts very shortsighted design. To keep everyone happy all they had to do was keep the timer as a selectable modifier - job done.

1 ReplyAt GM level I couldnt complete it in time and I know the way. Didn't waste anytime and only made it to the boss room. There is a way to go out of bounds that might save a few minutes would have to look it up.

Agreed. I used to solo this mission (on normal mode) back when it was introduced. I never really cared about trying to speedrun it, so I never learned any tricks. I tried to give it a go today. I wasn't really rushing, but I also wasn't dragging my feet. I had the difficulty set at almost my level, so I was blasting through the combat sections far faster than I ever have before. Overall, I was going at a reasonably fast pace, yet I only made it about half-way through the mission.

2 RepliesI’m so confused here. Is this just on master or grandmaster? Expert level doesn’t have a kick to orbit time. It took me 40 min last time I played it because I stopped for food.

Same. And when that internal mission timer runs out, it doesn't even properly send you to orbit. It gets stuck in an endless respawn/death loop. Fun times.
