I have been having repeatable issues with logging into destiny 2. When I open the game, it sometimes will just say the servers are down. Other times I get error code centipede. Sometimes I get to character select but get booted out when I select a character. Even if I can select a character, I can't launch any activity without getting booted to orbit.
I've tried everything I can from my end. Rebooted my network, allow UPnP, follow all the instructions from bungie.net, and everything I can try from reddit and other places online. I simply can't play.

Same here, I started getting the issue on Wednesday (9/10). A BattleEye update failed to update when I tried to open the game, I managed to log in eventually and the game said I had a Strict NAT type. Since then it tells me I have Strict NAT every time I log in (if I don't get error code Centipede or an error saying the servers are offline). Once in game, it takes about 5 tries to launch any activity (error codes Cabbage and Currant mainly) but once I'm in the activity I'm fine (mainly playing Control in PvP). I've done everything on my end to no avail... delete/reintsall BattleEye, verify game files in Steam, unplug my modem, gateway resets, reset the network adapters on my pc, windows commands to reset my IP/Firewall/Flush DNS, uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

You are not alone. Same type of issues. Cleared my console cache, booted up and got centipede error. Any activity with other players and I started getting cabbage errors. All happened a few hours after Ash and Iron launched.
