The grind itself isn’t horrible but what makes it bad is that it’s also tied to featured gear if you want to rank up, that’s not fantastic. having modifiers isn’t bad but requiring certain mods for progression makes it a bit tougher. An easy way to fix this is to simply allow us to use whatever gear is sufficient in power, but that aside what makes the grind mind numbing is that it’s best to run what’s portal over EVERYTHING else. If it’s not in the portal there’s no quality drops so why even bother? Along with that I understand the portal will be fleshed out more as time goes on, but it really feels like you’re trying to build another game inside of what already exists without putting that effort… into what already exists. For example those dungeons pre eof that were updated was interesting, but even then that was lackluster, patrol zones are dead, the new missions don’t hardly match what they were advertised to be, random spawns or whatever else. As soon as I mat in the moment I identify what the enemy race is, I know how the whole thing will pan out after 1 run. That’s predictable, lost sectors are basically useless, there’s no quality quests unless it’s Kepler related, like at this point the game is massive, so why make these sloppy moves here and there? You told us we’d never return to the plaguelands because that story was wrapped up, so after that bs we go back but there’s nothing Siva related? Vex and cabal? Aren’t there splicers in d2? Did y’all forget your world building? So many phenomenal things that have been removed to leave us with, “go here shoot this, go here kill that, go here yadyadayada” the lore in the new stuff isn’t bad but you have to risk death half the time to pick it up or it’s so far out of the way you wouldn’t find it without YouTube. What happened to y’all? You used to be king, now the only good thing you make is trailers. Bring back srl, sundial, menagerie. Make public patrol spaces worth going into again. Give some love to your innumerable clans and let us have a meeting hall. THE MOBILE GAME SHOULDNT BE BETTER THAN THE BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY THAT INSPIRED IT. your slipping, so many other devs are out shining you all by MILES. Arrowhead, Hello games. Even EA is looking promising again. Lords of the fallen seems to be in its best state, WARFRAME IS ONLY GETTING BETTER. Seriously bungie, take notes play the game for hours on end yourselves because as someone whose been here since “THE DARK BELOW” I’d say this is the bleakest it’s ever looked
