The Game is not longer fun anymore. You all don’t listen to us. Period. That is blatantly obvious. -No one but YouTube streamers have the time to grind your light/power leveling system. Which is fake by the way. We watch their videos and still watch them get wrecked in game. Even after they have all the T5 drops you have to offer. Most of us don’t want this, but you have forced it on us and then you wonder why your numbers keep dropping. -People have lives outside of this game. We can’t even play half the content because we don’t have the time to grind our tails off to even reach the power level to play it. Example, I’ve been playing when I have the free time, outside of work and family, and I’m still sitting at around 255 light since Edge of Fate dropped. -STOP. WAISTING. OUR. TIME. -For the YouTube streamers who crap on the rest of us for having a different opinions than you, we paid the same price you did and just because you are free or paid advertisement for Bungie doesn’t give you the right to crap on the rest of us for disagreeing with the games current state. That being said, there are lot of streamers out there that are saying the same thing, they wouldn’t wish the grind on anyone or that the grind isn’t even worth it. For the ones saying “oh you don’t need T4 and T5 gear”, wrong. We paid for the game too, just like you. We should have the same opportunities to get that kind of gear.. just like you. The only difference between you and the rest of us is that it is your job to be on the sticks during the day while the rest of us are out working 9-5 jobs. I say all of that respectfully because I do enjoy watching a lot of streamers content, but I do strongly believe there is a disconnect between Bungie, Streamers, and the general population that plays the game and this is the biggest sign that there is. Also, the common sense portion for me and some of the comments made about not needing “T4 and T5 gear is this: you buy a toaster for $60, but once you get the package open it says you can only use 2 of the 4 slots to make toast, but you can start using the other 2 slots once you’ve made 400 pieces of toast. Hell no, I would take that damn thing back to the store and get my money back. But we can’t do that with Destiny and this is why people end up feeling robbed or bamboozled by you, Bungie. You want good ratings and for people to play your game, but you don’t listen to ANYONE regarding recommendations. If you did, a lot more people would feel like it would be worth it and worth the time spent. -The power grind is fake. That has been proven by many streamers already. It doesn’t make you stronger. It doesn’t give you an advantage over the game scenarios. It doesn’t give you more power to nuke a boss or destroy everything in a strike. IT IS NOT REWARDING NOR DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD TO DO IT. All it does is keep you in the game for longer periods of time and open doors to content, THAT WE PAID FOR BUT CAN’T PLAY BECAUSE IT IS LOCKED BEHIND SOME ARBITRARY LIGHT LEVEL THAT YOU HAVE TO GRIND YOUR TAIL OFF TO GET TO.. IF YOU HAVE THE TIME TO DO THAT. -As long as this game stays in this current state, I will continue to not recommend it to anyone. Just like click bait, you guys are game bait. You only care about your numbers, money, and you could give two craps about the community. I used to use this game to decompress at the end of a long work day. All it does now is piss me off. I want to be done with this game so badly, but I have literally spent hundreds, if not over a thousand dollars since D1 came out. Probably closer to two thousand. I’ve seen the highs and lows, but this one takes the cake. Idk why I’m hopeful that Bungie will course correct, but it’s been a let down. -There once was a time when drops felt good. Surprise drops felt even better. That playing harder content felt great and rewarding. Everything you did in Destiny felt worth it and worth the time spent that you could spend. I used to stay up until 1am to grind GOOD LOOT, NOT LIGHT LEVELS IN ORDER TO GAIN ACCESS TO CONTENT I USED TO HAVE ACCESS TO FROM A PREVIOUS SEASON lol, DAMN. Those good times are clearly long behind us now. I’m not sure if I should move on or not, but I cannot justify playing this eye gauging and fake light level grinding game for any meaningful reason right now. Cheers on your current state of the game Bungie. Nice to see our opinions mean crap to you.
