I only made it to 370 power
So let me get this straight after grinding for the past few weeks and working a full-time job and taking care of my responsibilities. I was only able to make it to 370 power. Tuesday morning I’m gonna wake up and my power level is gonna reset back down to 200. I’ve never even seen a piece of tier 5 armor drop so now I have to start the race all over again and try to hurry up and make it from power level 200 till I guess 500 now before I see tier 5 armor do I have that correct?

Got to 300 and went back to gta lol, couldn’t bear the torture any longer 🥶

I didn't even make it that far - I stopped at 331 or something and jumped into borderlands 3 lol I suggest everyone do the same...

1 ReplyIt won't be reset until December. You'll still be at 370 with Ash & Iron. Also, apparently Tier 5 will start to drop once you hit 450, not 500.

You’re not being reset until December. You’ll still be at 370 tomorrow (just like me) Bungie has stated multiple times that power resets only happen with the expansions, not the season updates

1 ReplyThe thing that gets me is...so the update is "free", but you have to pay $10 for another Rewards Pass. So, that's like $40 in passes (with Renegades included), unless we buy the ultimate edition. They found another way to gouge money from players. Instead of having the pass go to level 200 like before , (for 1700 silver) now it's $10 for another pass ,which is like $3 more each time it resets. This company never ceases to amaze me with their greed.

You’re on the hamster wheel I’d jump off and stop funding predatory game design

I got to 300 (and a bit) but only because I let the grand kids play 🤣 I have NO CLUE what my Titan character is endowed with atm and I really couldn't give AF.

1 ReplyPick one character to focus; concentrate on weapon so you can transfer them to other characters… play heavy metal until it resets tomorrow…. On one character I was able to go from 345 all the way up to 400 I then transferred my weapons to my other character characters which lifted them up and currently I’m sitting at 4:02 on all characters….. note that I did grind three days in a row for that but you haven’t today until tomorrow… it loot was OK but then some crucible loop started dropping like the rocket pistol….. note I have not played a single crucial this season so didn’t have it so it’s kind of stoked….. and I’m not thrilled about next season’s reset

Power level will reset every "season"... and apparently there are only 2 seasons per year now, with a "mini-expansion" for each season, as well as 2 "rewards passes" per each season. This "mini-expansion" on Sept 9 will allow us to increase our max power level from 450 to 550, and will also include a new rewards pass. The next season wont start till December, but it'll be a total reset, dropping us down to 200, starting another rewards pass, and I believe dropping our guardian rank. We'll be maxed out at 450 again till the next "mini-expansion" in like March, which will then increase to 550 again, and give us our 4th/final rewards pass of the year. That fact that players are still confused and/or unsure about the power-structuring is a testament to how crappy of a model it is :(

Power reset isn't until renegades, if they are still pressing forward with that same plan.
