The Crossbow is probably the worst heavy weapon in the game. It's only positive is ammo economy, and that's only if you're wasting time retrieving your shots. The Temporal Blast mod is carrying it for damage. Once that's gone, the weapon will vanish unless Bungie gives serious buffs to it (don't bet on it).
