Account recovery
I have a bungie account linked with steam and Xbox but my Xbox account was hacked and I want to keep the bungie account, how do I go about unlinking the Xbox account and linking my new Xbox account

Edited by EckyThump: 9/7/2025 7:34:01 PMHey there, in addition to the answer already given, the hacked XBox account is your primary, the Active account in the cross-save setup. It is where the characters originate from and to want to remove that account would mean abandoning the characters and all progress - it is all tied to the XBox account, not the Bungie account. Since accounts can no longer be unlinked, the above is slightly mooted as you can't actually DO it, but just letting you know of the importance of the old account.
