It’s the lack of response… they know something’s a problem gameplay wise… but as long as it doesn’t benefit the player against the company… they don’t care, they won’t. People will come in and use what’s busted, keeping player counts up. But holy -blam!-, let one thing advantage the player against the company or game and its disabled until the tune is implemented.

You are right about the grind and I do not watch streamers, except looking for dead ghosts and for moon rabbits. The game is now portal only for more light level. Do not go to kepler because it does not help light. Have not run any patrols or lost sectors on nessus, nepture, dreaming city or other locations because no pinnacles. With nothing but solstice and portal for a month now, over 5k hours each in D1& D2, log in today says “can’t use this content, your licenses are being verified”. What else can they screw up on this game???

I'm having more fun getting kicked in the nuts in Silksong. Want to know why? Because when I beat a really difficult section, it's done with skill, not because I spent ten hours grinding the same thing to get a number up. And the feeling when I beat it, it's a sense of accomplishment. Unlike Destiny 2 where I just feel dead inside.

I finally did it. Deleted everything Destiny from my computer.

I have long given up on this game and on this company they continue to disappoint me, and I have a high tolerance for it to a certain point and they have just destroyed it, especially with their politicking within the game too.

That’s why I quit, pretty much felt like I was doing a job instead of having fun and I’m going to be honest and say if everyone left the game bungie might realise that they are pretty much finished since no one will play marathon and their dry cow ain’t making them money anymore

It is not the same people working on the game. They need help over at Bungie. I would love to see them outsource PvP. I wonder what a AAA studio could do with it.

I liked the campaign, but after it ends we enter in a spiral of repetition. Lack of new content, Portal with very few content and everything old cut in smaller pieces; Climbing in power until the 400 is so, so painful and for a player like me, a casual one, is virtually impossible to achieve it. Dungeons, older raids that don't give you newer tier weapons or armor is also negative. Let's hope that something changes.

I felt everything you said a lot of us do bro. We all have posted like this I tired to organize a boycott of the raid because bungie knew it was broken and they shadow banned me for a week. After that deleted it and I tell you it makes you feel better. You care about the game and it shows but the people who make it don’t even care that much so just vote with your wallet and just stop playing. That way they all are removed and us as players decide what’s next. Don’t buy marathon don’t engage in destiny rising like these damn YouTubeers are pushing. Just stop playing hopefully Sony fixes this company if not I got what I needed out of it. It’s okay to let it die. And never give bungie another dime.

Hell no, I would take that damn thing back to the store and get my money back. But we can’t do that with Destiny and this is why people end up feeling robbed or bamboozled by you, Bungie. Nice to see our opinions mean crap to you.[/quote] They don't listen yet they're addressing a number of the most popular complaints of recent weeks with this coming weeks reset. The pinnacle grind being one of the changes. Power certainly does effect how quick you can delete bosses or annihilate a strike. Setting a GM level activity to be at my light, just over or just under certainly does make the activity fun allowing me to nuke bosses and fly through the activity and get A grade rewards.

Very good post. It explains how I feel about it, too. I started playing the day Destiny 1 was releases. I'm a casual player and I sit down and play when I got time, which is not often. I've played through the EoF campaign and the activity the last part of the campaign started. That was it. I quickly grew tired of the constant time-sinking mechanics with the Relocatiors and the wobbly ball gimmick. After the campaign story it is all just a pointless grind which I don't fancy. Everything now just takes more time, is more grindier then ever without purpose other then growing in light level to unlock things. And that grind is not casual- or solo friendly. Getting better weapons and armour does not mean anything because you are always underpowered.

I hope that someone at Bungo actually reads posts like this one. I think you speak for a lot of people here, my friend.

Whole reason I stopped playing, I’ve been playing D2 since launch and I finally left after playing EOF. Not sure how people can run the same slop over and over that’s been in the game for years, for hours to barely increase your power level. Beyond boring and beyond disappointing, can’t wait for Borderlands.

Feel somewhat the same. Ive been playing destiny since d1 year 1. Every season, every dlc.....this game was important to my sons and I. We have some incredible memories like the first time we beat skolas.....anyone remember that bad -blam!-? We had a crew of abojt 75 players hammering away at crota, atheon....the king...memories. Deatiny now feels like lazy gen z devs running numbers in the background and lainching crap contemt for that one time purchase we are all doing bexause we are curious. They no longer care what this game meant to the community. I swear, if i run one more k1 my eyea will bleed. Thanks bungie for ruining what was onxe an incredible journey. Boarderland 4 hear i come
