Refusing to bring back Siva
Siva is one of if not THE community favourite creation and aesthetic in the destiny.
Your refusal to bring it back when so many people want it, just baffling. Just adding some siva Ornaments for exotics isnt enough.
It has almost unlimited potential to create cool origin traits, armour bonuses and weapon perks.

Siva + vex is the way to go. You literally teased that in year 1 of destiny 2.
Just have Maya reactivate siva. Siva takes over a vex mind with a leftover Rasputin order. Then you have a new faction of enemies to use within the story.

I was there for it all, and most people were swept up in it, it wasn't a good story. The only thing people cared about then was the raid, and the weapons. Nobody even liked the siva stuff back then. Its only nostalgia that leads people into these black holes now, saying they want the siva. It must be the people that weren't around back then that still want siva, because what I remember from it was it was bad.

Bungie doesn't like money... It's pretty obvious at this point. Siva is one of the coolest things in destiny and for me personally gaming in general. A Lovecraftian horror tech virus is just a really interesting thing. As much as I love siva, it doesn't have to be this recurring thing every other expansion. I just want some form of siva content in destiny 2. They've spent so much time saying how hard it would be to port siva over to d2 and how long it would take... They could have done it four times over by now.

D2 is basically a watered down version of Original Destiny minus the fun, customization and ability to play content that isn’t on some stupid rotation

We saw the fruits of the labor on Neptune. Not only did it help make a new colony, they also improved upon it to such a degree that they are able to fight off the Vex. Siva is done. It wasn’t the antagonist - the fallen were. Season of the Chosen established that it is merely a tool, it is not sentient. I get that it’s red and black edgy, it’s over ———————————————————————— However, something to consider. The Conductor, a vex exo with knowledge of the golden age came to the plaguelands, a place with SIVA. Technology that was infused with Vex tech to make Quicksilver. The axe we see in the trailer has silver specks swirling around it, and it has the same patterns of Quicksilver tech So Siva may actually be relevant to the plot of the area

If you want more vex, why not ask for the combat units they hinted at first years instead of a rerun of something that’s fully played out. Siva is a joke.

Bungie isn't touching it because they know it's a dead end. SIVA and Vex cannot work because the Radiolaria will convert it. That's the whole point of the Vex. SIVA is assimilation. Vex are Conversion. Won't work.

People asked for the plaguelands back and i guess its now obvious that those people never played rise of iron. 2) siva is so inferior to the vex that it barely registers as a thing. Even quicksilver (which is better siva) is so incredibly inferior to vex technology.

Right. Have a fragment of Rasputin that has survived within some Warmind Bunker regain access to Siva due to Mayas meddling, and then have that Siva infect one of the free Vex Units under Mayas command, where upon it resists the Echo of Command by contacting simulated Warminds within the Vex Network, creating a new Rasputin. Make it so this Rasputin is of course distinct from the previous, and has the same working relationship with us that House Salvation had back in Revenant. A good way to make this Rasputin completely separate from the previous is have it be free from its original code thanks to its exposer to the Echo Of Command and Coral Vex. So this Rasputin would be completely selfish (which Rasputin has showcased in the past, but not to an extreme extreme degree) or something. Hell, you could just make the Red Legion use Siva, like they scavenged the Tech from the Replication Chamber and recreated it. This could then be used against Neomuna, as both Shadow Legion and Red Legion have shown to be susceptible to the Echo of Command.

22 RepliesWe will never see Siva again. Bungie stole the RED WAR storyline from an artist who is suing them over it. It's why Bungie "vaulted" so much content. It's why we WERE going to get a Red Subclass but never will. Marathon may never see the light of day for a similar reason. They stole the art.

5 RepliesBottom line is to those who disagree, the potential has been thrown away with this decision. Bungie believes it’s a bad decision to listen to what the consumer wants. I don’t know why, but evidently it’s not worth the investment to resurge happiness in the community with an easy avenue to getting great attention in respecting their communities wishes. Oh well, Bungie clearly knows best, right?

You don't realize what's happening here ever since shadow keep all they've been doing is copy and paste they barely make anything new and when they do there's not enough new content... Bungie is saying that they're going to change the behavior of certain perks well bungee needs to change their own f****** behavior to be honest because their behavior their decision-making is what's making this game go down the shitter!

We wrapped it all up in RoI, and they said several times in the past that siva wouldn't be returning. Your own fault for coping yourself into a depression over something everyone else already knew wasn't gonna happen.
