This is in regards to the streaming requirements for the upcoming raid race.
Putting the job of securing the raid race integrity on the players is completely asinine and embarrassing (for you). You have admitted you are incapable of doing this on your own.
I’m by no means an expert at game security, anti cheat, cyber security or coding. But I feel like there are other ways to detect blatant cheating - the likes of which we saw during DP contest.
Some obvious red flags include: blue weapons, extremely quick clears, 5 players getting very little to zero kills while one player has hundreds or thousands, fresh accounts, weapons known for cheating - Duality, Lorentz, etc.
I’m all for having no cheaters and ensuring the integrity of the raid race, but it should go without saying - THAT IS YOUR JOB.

Cheaters mock Bungie on a daily basis. Bungie is either held hostage by them or is actually making money from selling cheats to their own game. Why else would they do nothing 98% of the time. Crucible control continues to suffer as I run into device cheaters every other game now. Those devices have to be considered cheating and action taken against them.

The players are also Bungies Q&A and testing department, except we pay them for the job

I’m going to post my own rant on this but streaming requirements is terrible. First off, you should not be forced to stream to take part in a community event such as this. Most of us know going in that we ain’t getting a worlds first. But the true fact is that a random team has done it before. Imagine getting that first completion and having it denied because you didn’t have the funds or knowledge on how to set up and stream. It’s ridiculous. They already have a robust verification process that has not failed to determine a worlds first. Had they failed before, I may be inclined to rethink this but there are too many ways to verify. They can see kill counts, damage numbers, and time to complete. Any severe outliers would be discredited right there. There has been a debate for years that contest/worlds first competitions are only for streamers and this confirms it now. Plus the only people I have heard crying about this ARE streamers. Giving them power like this to change the game is insulting to the rest of us. And you are right at the core of your argument- fix your blam anticheat! This literally does not affect me in anyway. I do not like the impact it will have on others.

Just dont bother. They won't do anything. Borderlands 4 is almost here.

They are in the process of firing the security department to buff out the loss in revenue which will be Ash and Iron. Kudos to Bungie for being proactive!

Just another way to make the players pay so they don't have to. Nothing new here.
