I think they can be helpful when done correctly. Emphasis on the last part. Unfortunately, bungie has no clue about the meta in their own game. They just see stuff being good and nerf as a knee jerk reaction. I genuinely wish they would watch aegis videos and try to learn something from him, he is clearly more competent than bungie and actually owns up to his mistakes. The only conclusion I can come to is that bungie is full of people with subhuman intellect and have just given up on trying so the clueless c suite are just doing random crap so they can get out after they lined their pockets.
