Nerfs are unnecessary in PVE and pushing people away

You guys seem determined to make Destiny 2 absolutely miserable to play. The nerfs are tone deaf and further proving that Bungie has no idea what they are doing. B4 is about to release, and player count is going to hit record low on D2. The devs seem determined to run everyone off.

  • They really need to find a way to espérate the sandboxes for PvE and PvP. 2025 and they still haven’t figured out how to, crazy z

  • I agree for the most part, if there's something that's way outside its intended damage like when the Wish-Ender was dealing crazy damage then fine, bring it back down a bit. What really makes me angry is when something is working as intended but is naturally stronger than other options and they feel a need to destroy it rather than balance it. Nobody in this company seems to understand balance, be it with the gear in game or the grind/fun ratio.

  • If I had a nickel for every time Bungie changed Mida's Catalyst, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it's happened twice.

    • They are clearly doing it on purpose, as they have been for a long time. No developer who was trying to retain customers would act this brazen.

    • Maybe the plot is have everyone enjoying that stupid Marathon garbage game. Which I said it in the beginning and I'll always continue to say it if they're making deci to s*** so that will buy Marathon they're out of their effing mind number one number two how dare they even make marathon when Destiny was still in a state of development and it always seems like it's in a state of development. I think government and leaders don't get it something that we all face especially as a business owner sometimes you don't like what you're doing but you have to do it because that's what sells. I'm sure there's a few of models out there that don't like what they're doing anymore but they do it because that's what sells. Why would anyone want to switch us over to a stupid game called marathon when we are all stuck on Destiny but you're just making Destiny horrible so I don't think you're going to be getting a lot of sales as a company not sure how you plan to work that out

    • I think they can be helpful when done correctly. Emphasis on the last part. Unfortunately, bungie has no clue about the meta in their own game. They just see stuff being good and nerf as a knee jerk reaction. I genuinely wish they would watch aegis videos and try to learn something from him, he is clearly more competent than bungie and actually owns up to his mistakes. The only conclusion I can come to is that bungie is full of people with subhuman intellect and have just given up on trying so the clueless c suite are just doing random crap so they can get out after they lined their pockets.

      • I could understand if the nerfs were to things that were clearly over powered and were a problem. But -blam!- chromatic fire got nerfed lmao. There's maybe one person left trying to make that exotic work, and bungie decided screw them in particular.

        • You forget, I wanna say it was the Gearbox CEO that said something like this: "Real fans will be able to afford the price hike on our games." The marketing just sucked for Borderlands 4. I expect it to die quickly. It'll probably not die as quickly as the Pre-Sequel did, but I think it'll still be one of the lesser installments in the series.

          • This is why I’m glad destiny rising is out. It’s going to finally put pressure on Bungie to finally do better.
