If the goal is truly to push players out and move toward shutting down the game, then please… stop here.
We’ve loved Destiny for 10 years without fail. It’s not that we don’t understand business realities or studio circumstances. But ten years is long enough to change entire landscapes and the love we’ve poured in has become a family and a home. Some may say I can’t separate reality from a game, but Destiny has given me real happiness. through this community, our clan members, and all the effort Bungie has put in.
Of course, I have my real life. But I also have a life and a home as one Guardian in Destiny. There are still places to explore, mysteries to solve, emotions to experience, and comrades to stand alongside.
I know money is what keeps a game alive. I don’t want to see Bungie and Destiny collapse, and that’s why I continue to support this game. even spending money I don’t have to.
But economics is also about the number of players who can spend. In fact, that’s maybe the most important factor. And in this situation, please stop driving players away with punishing patches. I beg you.
Please provide high-level gear (around 300 Power) for new, returning, and beginner players. They burn out on endless power grinding and leave.
Please expand the sources for Powerful Engrams after 400 Power. This too becomes a major reason players quit.
No one jumps into lava. because it means death, because it’s meaningless. Just as Bungie makes careful calculations, players are just as calculating. The moment they realize that the system doesn’t lead to “fun and joyful play” but instead feels like suffering and death they leave.
Please, do what you can so they don’t leave.

Bungle is unable to make any kind of decision that makes sense lately. There is a major “skill issue” at that studio and it’s not going to get any better. They are actively working to make this game worse….

Time to let go dude ! Bungie is no more …Sony is in charge now . D2 is a lost cause like their servers . Who knows but Sony are probably thinking d3 down the road . D2 has turn into a polished turd …..but again who knows what Sony are up to .

If you want Bungie to fail so badly, why do you still play the game? You're not proving a point, you're just making this community miserable by acting like the rest that demand the same thing.
-
Remember the Go Fast Update? Where instead of nerfing the good stuff, Bungie buffed all the niche stuff? They should have done that with the Portal.
-
As the numbers collapse ever further I imagine they will roll out changes for the next expansion

You're the type of customer Bungie just doesn't deserve. They might listen but it may well be too late to salvage.

I have never rooted against something the way I will root for Marathon to fail.

As someone who has played since the Destiny 1 Beta, I'm afraid to login to this new expansion. Everything I've read sounds like they've killed the Destiny I've loved over the years. I'm not into the grind. I want to login, play some fun missions with friends, collect cool new gear and watch my numbers go up in a way that doesn't feel like a second job. I'm juggling way too many games at the moment to have to devote my entire, LIMITED gameplay time to just one game. Also, NO new free-roam social space? No new Public Events? Playlists that limit what gear you can actually use? Enemies that level WITH you so you are always -10, -20, -30?!?!? Hiding all of the old locations, missions, etc? Resetting everyone after every new season? Crafting gone so I'm completely at the mercy of RNG? This all sounds awful. I'm so glad PlayStation has finally taken full control of this company. Keep the talent and fire every decision maker.

I fear it’s too late.
