Has anyone ever actually been unbanned by Bungie?

Hi, thx for reading the post :) I'll try to be as concise as possible, but I'll provide extra information where necessary. Recently, when contest mode was active over the weekend, I joined 4 different fireteams in an attempt to clear the raid under 48 hrs. Ultimately, I succeeded a few hours before Monday's reset. I even continued playing with some of the people I met during the raid (it was 32 hours of suffering, after all). However, exactly two weeks later, you can probably guess what happened. I got home on the weekly reset and saw a huge message that said, "Not so fast." At the time, I was unsure, but judging by the reaction on Twitter, I had a feeling that one of my 20 teammates from the contest was a closet cheater. "Why a closet cheater?" you might ask. From what I've seen on Iron Banner, Trials, YouTube videos, and even Cosmodrome patrols, I thought cheaters were obvious to all players: flying across the map at Mach speed, turning into giants out of nowhere, firing an infinite number of bullets per second, shaking the screen, and instantly exploding all players, adds and bosses in the session. But none, and I say None of the four squads I played with, even though they were people I didn't know very well ( since they were from LFG) had any of these actions, we literally 3 phase every boss until the last one, and barely managed to squeeze a 2 phase on koregos (ironically being the 2nd easiest one IMO, the hobgoblin was the real deal). Which leads me to believe, either the person hacking was trying to hide the use of their 3rd party cheat to get a clear, or to carry someone else. I spent two days trying to find the hacker. When I found them, I reported them to Bungie and provided proof of their identity in the game and on Discord. I asked that they removed my loot, exotics, and emblem, since I don't care about them as much as I care about my account. During my research, I even discovered that two of the top 20 teams that cleared the raid, had connections with this "closet cheater" and have used blatant cheats in the past. Even worse, they are still playing normally. I'm talking about killing a Master Oryx, in 50 seconds with one Sunshot bullet (talk abou the man with the golden gun) and Atheon in two minutes with a rocket pistol. As soon as I discovered this, I made another post exposing everything to Bungie, but neither has been answered yet. From what I've seen, if you don't receive a response within two weeks, it's best to consider the case closed. That's why I came to the forums, just to satisfy my curiosity. I received a message saying that my case was solved already, but since my acc still banned, I guess it's safe to say it's over ? Even with videos, links, docs and all the proof that I provided on the tickets ? Has anyone actually been banned from the game by Bungie? Or is the form just a "placebo"? How long does it take for people with real evidence of cheating to be banned? And not just anyone, but people on the top 20 leaderboards for the new raid.

    1. Has anyone been unbanned? Yes, several times. 2. If Bungie closed the ticket, then they found enough evidence to keep the ban in place. 3. Why did you change your name after clearing contest mode? What were/are you trying to hide in your history? 4. Yes, even streamers & world first dungeon/raid player(s) have been banned for various reasons.
