Please buff the drop rate of 400+ pinnacles
I know this has been mentioned before, but I'm starting to not enjoy the game .
I've been mostly positive about this dlc even though it's got flaws, but I've hit the wall.
The 400 to 450 grind is very slow.
Earlier on at least, you saw a small amount of progression each run of most portal activities, but this is soul destroying. I'm literally losing the will to play. This has to be addressed even if it's a plus 1 bit of gear every 4 or 5 runs. Because as it is, this system is feckin terrible.
I've gone up 7 power in 6 days, i was going up 7 power in 6 hours previous to 400.
Considering we reset at the end of the season, this just doesn't make sense to me.

10 RepliesZERO drops in 50 runs of Skywatch yesterday. ZERO. I’ve left the game now. It’s a total waste of my time and it’s clear Bungie do not respect my time either. A shame: I can see the direction of travel but it’s been very poorly implemented.

2 RepliesI don’t even know what a pinnacle engram looks like when it drops. The old way it made a recognizable sound plus sparkling kinda. I’ve gotten engrams that drop like that from defeating champions and heavy health gated yellow bars but 100% of the time they have been like tier 1 and under 400 power. I have gotten past 400 with Zavala and the solstice track weapons, I’ve yet to see a recognizable pinnacle drop from farming anything else. I’m more focused on tier 5 solstice armor atm but it would be nice to have some type of explanation of how/when you should expect a pinnacle to drop.

5 RepliesI'm still at 310 ATM so I'm not on the hamster wheel you are, but having to entirely depend on Prime engrams as your only progression for 50 levels sounds absolutely soul-suckingly terrible. My condolences to anyone stuck in this morass.

1 ReplySame, it’s terrible. This shows a blatant disregard for your player base. I’ve been counting, and it’s 64 games since the last pinnacle drop I’ve had. That’s solo GMs, fire team, and exotic quests at A’s. About 20-25hrs of playing time. I’ve been playing for 8 years, and for the first time I just can’t find a reason to play anymore. If it wasn’t for Zavala, I’d still be 400.

I'll just login once a week now for Zavala's stuff. Fat chance I'm grinding for a small chance to up 3/8 of one power level lol

Edited by Monkey: 8/14/2025 2:35:19 AMThey desperately want people to play trial,s which is why so many people have gone up a few power lvls, but when you play pve is shocking how bad the drop rate is for primes. Mythic weekly missions need to be a +3 at your lvl and not capped at 300. proof they have no idea on what people want. I also think the Sieve should have a chance of dropping some sort of powerful engram after the bonus round. No point running anything as an A rating or even completing anything challenging in the game from solo, fireteam or pinnacle

With solstice and the guaranted pinnacle rewards (5 per class + the weapons on the event rank) I managed to go from 408 at solstice launch to 443 today (and i didnt used zavala's pinnacle yet) So 7 lvls in 6 days is a bit of a player issue even if understandable

Why should I suffer through 72,67,55,44 runs with no drops, for them to let you catch up 😕 put the work like the rest of us 😂 Edit to add: your 1 month into a 6 month season, you've lots of time, you'll have nothing to do soon enough

I was stuck at 405 for days, made it 407 ... by this time in every expansion I was already at pinnacle cap, playing GMs. How are we supposed to get 550 at this rate?. Trying to replay the same 3 or 4 missions over and over. I even tried some side missions. Jesus shoot me. You can't tell me they can't implicate some type of boost, while some people are still playing. The game has gone on sale on every platform, next will be completely free to play ...

What the game not rewarding? How surprising. Been saying it for a while and I am sorry it is so bad at that level. I may make 200 by December. I will never again own any good gear.
