Just a friendly reminder for those interested, the title show premieres on Hulu and FX tomorrow night at 8 pm ET. Personally, I'm rather excited.
Side note: The 'Hell is Us' free demo also releases tomorrow. I'm doubling down on being rather excited.

Watched it tonight. Not sure about it yet. I'll give it another couple of episodes.

Saw the first episode last night. Wasn't bad.

I've got some complaints (as expected) but there are some positives, so if the show can put in some more work it could get better. Pros- Visually it's great. The Aliens look really good when they're using the practical versions and aesthetically the environment is consistent and accurate to the Alien Universe. Conceptually it's also great, there are about 5 high-brow ideas that honestly could each have their own show and be explored independently. Cons- I'll just make a quick list here, reply if you want more in-depth explanations. -Characterization -World Building -Characters being complete idiots because they are just there to be killed -Some particularly bad acting -Great Ideas but poorly explored, if at all - Dear god the editing is atrocious, supposedly produced by Ridley Scott but i couldn't tell - Plot (specifically in the manner on how plot points unfolds but this problem meshes with world building) - Dialogue (who wrote this? And have they ever talked with another human being?)

“Alien: Earth” is kind of a goofy title. I get that “Alien” is a franchise name, but even so. But I guess I’m in the middle of “Sailor Moon” so I don’t really have any room to talk.
