He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Pretty straight forward actually. Do your chores every day without payment to get to level 450 and above with new weapons cause your old ones aren’t featured and then rinse and repeat! 🤣

Bungie need to speed up the leveling process, players are bored silly with this nonsense.

OP: here’s what I did… First Round: W Played the campaign on normal and grinded Scorcher crucible. Infused highest stuff with higher stuff, as and when. Built one armour set…then two more…then switched-on to the Lustrous set only + glows. Got to Ll250-ish : GR4-5 Did not yet play final campaign mission. 2nd Round: T Loaded-up with highest weapons No infusing…unless it’s mega Burned ‘useless’ much-cherished Exotics to make space for incoming flood of good new stuff Grinded Scorcher crucible - the best way to get better gear / toys Got to LL300 / GR7 Focused on Lustrous Set + glows mostly Played campaign on normal and…didn’t yet do the final mission Fireteam / Solo Ops now at Master level (roughly) or not worth doing if deemed too onerous 3rd Round: H Switch in highest guns to raise LL - v fast Start campaign on normal - long way to go Focus now only on Lustrous Set + glows No infusing unless it’s mega makes sense Scorcher Crucible is best option Nearly anything worth doing now at Master level otherwise the loot is too low for the grind Have run few Master missions…some mods are awful (auto grapple / exploder mod) Tier 4 stuff now dropping Not chasing anything special…just having a bit of a hoot and leaning-in to the new way forward. Don’t plan on doing much more once my H is cooked. Hardest expansion? I wouldn't say so. Definitely also not the hardest to understand. I do agree that it has the most difficult, most annoying and most boring grind I've ever seen in Destiny. But the framework for a better Destiny was introduced but the execution was done horribly.

If you aren't hitting the score needed to get the grade for a gear increase, then it most likely means you or the people you are playing with are running past every enemy possible. You need to kill everything in fireteam ops to get the highest score. Solo ops and pinnacle ops you can run past everything and still get the score. In crucible, you simply need to get the bare minimum of kills or objective score to get at least a B or higher.
