Slap in the face
Do not be in a hurry to reach level 400 once you get there you have to turn up the difficulty to 50 under power to get an A grade which is near impossible. The loot drops on a B+ are pathetic.
I’m getting one and two tear loot. I’m not saying it has to be a pinnacle drop but if you complete a mission 50 under power, you should be rewarded. This game is just stupid anymore.

And a side note the weapons stat needs to be removed entirely in no universe should I be using the same gun with exactly the same rolls and get rolled because some kid cranked every stat point into weapons and 1 bangs me.

1 ReplyYou’re doing it wrong. I’m playing only 20 power under and getting A+ at 420 power. Use more player stakes that don’t raise the enemy power level but does raise your multiplier. You can get away with 20 under.

Loot should drop at your highest tier PERIOD. What’s the point of power tiers if the work to get there is just a CHANCE

2 RepliesI just beat 420 famine GM K1 at 350 And surprisingly it was easier than I expected, there is barely any ads in the bossroom, and I just ghorned her from cover Also, during solstice, you can take advantage of the fired up modifier, and pretty much have infinite rocket ammo, even over ruled famine as long has it doesn't say impossible, it should be doable

You never have to go 50 under. Turn on all the player stakes - locked loadout, no hud, no starting ammo and brawn. You'll never have to turn on more than +30 worth of other negative modifiers for A rank, and most of the time a single +20 Bane modifier will do.

Edited by Smudger: 8/10/2025 1:35:25 PMYou only have to go 30 over power bud. Make sure you have 2 solstice mods on they give you a bigger score multiplier and some benefits. Then pick a bane and one +10 negative mod of choice. Make sure you complete the bonus objective that pops up on the left and beat the timer. You'll get an A rank and tier 5 loot every run. If your score forecast above the 4 white boxes says 819,214, you're good to go. Getting pinnacles to drop is a different story. This is terrible atm it's taken me nearly 2 days to get to 404. I was going up 30 power in that time previous to 400.

5 RepliesGlad i saw this because I was just about to make a post asking about level 400. Im currently 399. But its saying no matter how many modifiers i put on i cant earn gear over 400. It wasnt making any sense. Now i see it was by design of course..

As soon as I got to 200 I realised that there is no point levelling up . That’s all that is left is a power grind for nothing ?! Why are people even doing it especially if they aren’t going raid . Will be very interring if Sony keep d2 going or nip it in the bud and start fresh 🤷🏼♂️

Just hang in there Sony announced they are absorbing bungie into Playstation studios...remember last time there was more than just bungie working on an expansion? We got the greatest expansion ever in forsaken...Playstation studios puts out some of the best games ever god of war, the last of us, etc,etc...just imagine what they can do with destiny -

Edited by Why is this happening?: 8/10/2025 6:38:42 AMYes, the 400-450 jump needs to be fixed, but you're 100% not getting 1 and 2 tier at B+, unless they're world drops from trash mobs. Stop lying to make it sound worse than it is. Also if you're struggling with -40, -50, it's probably because you're running straight in expecting to trash everything in the room and that's the exact opposite play style you need until you get strong enough. For the record I consistently get T4 and 5 from my missions.

2 RepliesWHALEY_S_K_O_L you make some valid points and I agree that eververse needs to be removed from the game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

3 RepliesI just solo'd a Creation earlier today at 57 under, in time. Theyre not that bad. And once you go up a few more levels it gets a little easier. But once you hit 400/Rank 9 is there even much reason to get to 450? I think 400 is enough tbh.
