I dont know what you guys were smoking when you made this, but it turns out that if I want a specific armor type, I choose something else.
The drops AVOID what i put on my ghost!

The chemicals they’re using in their hair to turn it blue, green or purple is eating their brain cells away.
-
Yeah I’ve been trying to figure out the work around like slotting a different slot to fool it to give me something else. Still haven’t found a pattern yet so I took it off for now.
-
I don't know about it blocking armor but it certainly doesnt help.

Dont you remember Episode: Revenant.... Bungie incorrectly coded the vendor screen for attuning Onslaught weapons & everything ended up being "one to the right"... meaning, if you attuned a weapon at the vendor screen, you'd get whatever weapon was directly to the right of it on the list. So, people started attuning the weapon to the left of the one they wanted, in order to make it drop the correct one.

Edited by Guardian6266: 8/9/2025 2:07:25 PMLike I said, working as intended to inflate engagement numbers. by equipping these ghost mods, youre snitching on yourself and letting the game* know what to avoid dropping. * the enemy of satisfaction , gratification. The old mods had a similar function, so I only used the discipline armorer (whether focusing for resilience or mobility.) its not broken its intentional

This has been a problem since it was introduced. Just saying that I agree with you and that Bungie has outright refused to fix this problem. So expect your feed back to fall on deaf ears.

Edited by Naterade: 8/10/2025 6:05:42 AMDon’t count on them addressing this anytime soon, and if they do, it will sit in the known issues section of the TWID until the end of the season/episode, or whatever the hell they are called now. Myself and a bunch of others had a bugged quest last episode that was in the known issues section and was never fixed, it was just ignored until the launch of EoF. I really hope Sony can right the ship because after 8 years and counting of this crap, they’ve proven that they are not only unwilling, but incapable of fixing fundamental issues with this game.

Edited by BillyJean: 8/10/2025 5:31:29 AMI don't know. I genuinely think it's made it worse than with it. I think if someone was to farm massive amounts of armour with and without the mods, they would find the o.p. is not lying by saying it avoids the stats you focus. I know it's an increased chance, but I geniunely wanted to get Super, Class, and Weapons for my Crucible builds and since putting the mods on my Hunter and Titan, I genuinely have not gotten those three stats to be the highest since. I literally don't need more health and its all I get now or malee or gernade. The three stats I want is the most rare now, when before I would get them randomly, now I get them once a leap year. For solstice armour specifically, I wanted those three stats I mentioned. On my Hunter and Titan with the focusing ghost mod, 8 out of 8 armour pieces I got were Health and stuff I wasn't even focusing.

Edited by A Broken Record: 8/10/2025 1:54:39 AMRy, Adamantine Monke Ninja you make some valid points and I agree that eververse needs to be removed from the game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

It just makes it more likely, not a guarantee. I've gotten plenty of armor pieces that fit the Ghost mod I have slotted. i highly doubt every drop you've gotten has been opposite as you claim. Stop being overdramatic.
-
It's detrimental so more likely to be left unfixed until streamers blowing this up or number goes very low to make them "we'll do better"
-
Yep, been running into the same problem as everyone else and it's really annoying. Trying to farm for the right armor slot, then farm for the right archetype, then farm for the right tertiary stats has been extremely frustrating. OH, and not to mention also farming the armor for the right armor set bonus you want. They need to fix this because it's been really annoying.
-
Yeah, I noticed this early on so took it off altogether, I think it's purpose is to prime the RNG so it knows what will keep you grinding. 😏
-
It just increases chance. It doesn’t guarantee.
-
Yup, I posted this a week ago, or more. Youtubers have talked about it, yet Bungie has not acknowledged it, but it's been an issue since reset ;last week of July, at least. I have it set for Specialist and get Brawler ~80% of the time, with Paragon coming in second.

Yeah somethings not right... been running my warlock recently and I'm literally getting everything other than the mod choice. Wasn't too bad previously, wasn't constant, but very noticeable... but now, oh dear!

only seems to work on seive activity
