Dear Bungie, I wanted to bring up a recurring and incredibly frustrating issue with the higher-tier Lighthouse quest version of Trials of Osiris — particularly regarding the loot system. Simply put: the loot pool is far too heavily weighted toward armor, and it’s become glaringly obvious. The Lighthouse should represent the pinnacle of competitive Destiny PvP. It’s a brutal climb — especially for PvE players pushing themselves in an already difficult environment. So when someone manages to reach the Lighthouse, especially via the higher-tier questline, the reward should match the effort. Instead, here’s what we’re experiencing: Duplicate armor drops (often already unlocked), Basic stat rolls that aren’t worth the chase, And a lack of weapon drops, most notably the Auto Rifle, which is clearly a top-tier, high-demand item. Here’s my own experience: • I’ve completed the higher-tier Lighthouse path twice, • Accumulated 21 Trials wins over the weekend, • And received just 3 Auto Rifles total. What stings more? My second Lighthouse completion didn’t reward a single weapon. Only armor. That’s not rewarding — that’s deflating. It genuinely feels like the loot system is rigged to push armor over weapons. And in a mode as tough and unforgiving as Trials, it feels wrong. RNG is part of Destiny, yes — but it shouldn’t punish players who’ve already beaten the odds. Armor is easy to get through focusing, general drops, and engrams. What sets the Lighthouse apart is supposed to be the weapons. So why are they treated like mythical-tier items? Suggestions: Guarantee the featured weapon (or at least a weapon) from Lighthouse completions. Implement smart loot targeting — reduce duplicate armor and favor uncollected or in-demand gear.
