I've been getting disconnections in the Crucible for a few months now. It's doesn't happen always. It occurs for a few days then stops for a day or two and comes back. I haven't noticed it happening on my PS5. Both the PS5 and PC are on the same network and are wired.
I've got 1Gbps internet speed and no issues whatsoever in any other game except for Destiny 2, specifically in the Crucible. It happens in PVE also but not as often. The NAT type in the game shows as Open. Whenever I disconnect there's no error code. It just disconnects me from the Crucible matches but not anywhere else. The game stays logged in and fine everywhere else and I play on Steam.
Troubleshooting I've done:
-Reinstalled the game twice
-Opened UDP ports 3074 and 3097
-Disabled ESET antivirus entirely
-Tried Google's DNS instead of my ISP's DNS
-Reset network adapter
-Replaced the ethernet cable
-Replaced the router
My PC is just a year old with an ASUS ROG STRIX Z790 motherboard, so I'm sure it isn't the network interface on it that's causing problems for Destiny.
It only happens in Destiny 2 on my PC. The PS5 is fine. What could be the cause? It suddenly started happening about two months ago. Recently it's been happening everyday almost all the time.
