The grind to 450 sucks. I wouldn’t mind it if we kept are levels but we loose 250 actually 350 because it will go up to max 550 later in a few months. It feels pointless to do because we all want t5 loot but we don’t get a chance till 450+. It’s nothing more than artificial grind to get access to the things you actually want. It pads out play time for bungie for there metrics. This would be ok if I was farming what I really wanted but I’m not. Then once the season is over we get dropped back to 200 just to do it all over again. That’s horrible because in all honesty most players will never make it to 550 or even 450 for that matter. It takes to long and burns players out. Making us have to play ridiculous hours just to then play more for the things we do want. This is going to kill what little enjoyment is left in this game. It’s asking for MMO dedication when it’s not one. Either reduce the grind to 350 then mid way add the max to 450 or we keep 350 base between seasons. The insane amount of time required is just to much. Grind is fun when you are doing and getting what you want not when you gain access to what you really want only to do it all over. In the 11 years of supporting this game I have never once thought about quitting but at this point how could I not. I play way more than average and I’m only at 319. I can’t imagine what the normal casual player is or will be at when the 6 months is up only to find out all there work and progress has been wiped out. Humans have limited time on this earth and is the most important resource we have. Bungie know this and want only to waste as much of it as possible. That’s not ok period. Content creators need to talk about this and we need to have bungie respect are time. Other games exist outside of destiny and bungie is only hurting themselves with these anti player changes.
