In general if you die several times the game tries to keep sending you back further and further thinking that the area you are in is "danger"
Well. That ends up creating a game-breaking bug when you put a kill barrier in the previous room with no way to leave that room, and no joining allies feature since it's solo.
I kept respawning in this room consuming all of my tokens.

Turns out there's a window right above the locked door that doesn't have glass so you can still escape, but still with a four second timer counting down to kill you and only 8-ish times to check, I can easily see how someone (me) would miss that.
