Warlock design and feedback has gone nowhere in years. We've now leveled up to deceptive sandbox + comms?
The landscape post element 3.0's (Witch Queen 2022) -
Hunter: Ranger, cyber ninja, gunslinger
Titan: Brawler tank, space magic, heavy gunner
Warlock: number puddle, mindless color blobs
Edge of Fate brought an exhaustive list of stealth/hidden changes to nearly every aspect Warlock kit. Now in its second week live in the retail game, they still haven't even been disclosed, let alone fixed, if any fixes are coming.
Starting with failure to ship the real Incinerator Snap in 2022, Warlock has been almost comically neglected in identity and ability kit development ever since. Why? What plans, if any, are there on this topic?
There's only three classes and, as a stated goal, designers have succeeded in making it possible to 'main' just one. The one that I picked ended up abandoned and it feels really, really bad.
This post is intended for the designers and not as a community discussion. If I wanted a circle party, I'd have posted on reddit or yapped on YT.
