Why is the destinations tab sad grey and depressing
I wanted to go to dreaming city but they made it look sad like sorry I don’t want to use your garbage portal system that doesn’t have any other destinations

Extremely obvious attempt at social engineering us to like the portal. As if we wouldn’t notice that blatant of a change after staring at it for 10 years.

It's a psychological trick to get you to want to go there less than the new super colourful Portal so that when they delete it all that'll be left is the new sparkly.

It’s a perfect representation of the state of the game and the community.

Because Bungie were trying to discourage players from using it for core activities because everything is now about the portal but it will go back to normal in a future update.
