Granting bonuses for using new gear is fine. Locking us out of content because our build isn’t what you want us to use isn’t. Make Avant garde optional especially on conquest runs.

Yeah as long as new gear is dropping less numbers than my current gear I'm not touching it so guess I'm locked out of conquest lol
