Bungie is still trying to push the boundaries of what players in game can handle and it feels like it’s to keep the small amount of streamers happy and ignoring the overwhelming amount of casual players.
This might be an issue if you want to keep players in the game.
Instead what they should do is put a team of devs (not invited streamers) that also play this game together and see if they can finish the activities they designed.
I highly doubt it in some activities.

Would paying SILVER for weapon/armour re-rolls and a few 30 dollar Eververse sets make you happy!? Good cause that's what's been datamined

They can do both. Leave the high end hard (although Mythic is overtuned to the point of boring) and make the rest of the game easier for the people who....yeah.

Edited by Jammers: 7/24/2025 6:28:15 PMno there not . there making players laugh at them by leaving the game. l been running master strikes at 100 . l would run grand Master also but the bone heads lock you out for power grind l don't need. my solution wait until one in my clan gets to 400 and join them. screw the grind it's boring af.

Apparently they decided to make those aforementioned activities "hard" and attempt to make "normal" players engage in "hard" content, while making the "elites" who only do 3 raid checkpoints and log off play more of the game. Kepler world tiers is the antithesis of what makes those "normal" activities fun. Negative modifiers in patrol(or any of those things) is obviously not what players want. It started when they locked exotics behind "master" lost sectors. They've been chipping away at "casual" fun every since.

Hell the problem with the game difficulty is due to the fact that apparently the ones they bring on to play test stuff are former Raid Race team winners which means the ones they basically bring on to see if content is easy or hard are hardcore sweats.

In D1, Bungie once streamed a few devs trying to beat Skolas. Eventually they gave up. I doubt it would go much better today. -
My gosh do I NOT want to sweat in PVE. I played every campaign from Halo 1 to Reach on Legendary, and it was not even close to the slog of trying to level up in this stupid game

That's why I didn't buy this bull.

Edited by Hugs: 7/25/2025 3:56:56 AMLet me know if I get this wrong. You're basically saying Bungie should not make content too difficult for the average player. Correction, you're saying it should be made only for the average player. What then for everyone else? I'm sure if you were part of the everyone else group, you'd probably being arguing the exact opposite of what you're arguing now. Be honest, you would be. Can't Bungie make content for you, and content for them? Why can't Bungie release an expansion specifically for the hard-core players? You don't need to buy it, ya know. Let your fellow guardian have a turn with the controller, so-to-speak. They deserve a challenge and to enjoy this game just as much as you do. Bungie can't please everyone all the time with every single thing they do! Let things go. Your time will come. And before the snakes come slithering out from their pits in attempt to shut me up (you know, all you do is make yourself look like a fool, you snake), know that I've suffered for years without any updates tailored to my interest, which is PvP, and yet I'm happy for those enjoying the game with each new expansion. I can both be happy for them and wish my turn came more frequently.
