Unable to login CE-34878-0
At this point, I have deleted and reinstalled the game five times. Reset the system to factory setting, have never equipped the faulty gear, and am still unable to login to the system. Was having problems with the system crashing last week, 38 crashes over the course of 3 ish days of play. But it wasn’t until the servers powered down for the update adding the contest mode for the new raid that I was unable to play from then forward. System will get as far as “checking updates” freeze and then crash.
Have attempted all of the workarounds to no avail.
Are the any fixes? Is there any news? Are PS4 users just out of luck?

There is no end to this problem. All the workarounds don't work. I tried them all. Best advice I can give you would be not to uninstall or reinstall anymore until Bungie issues a full fix. All that uninstalling and reinstalling can eat through your monthly data. If that's not a problem all that reinstalling is still a waste of your time. We don't know what the problem actually is. I'm waiting for the official word from Bungie. We still might have to reinstall D2 then again Bungie could just fix it with an update.

[quote]Are PS4 users just out of luck?[/quote] In my opinion no. PS4 have the biggest issue BUT the game is full of bugs. Its an unfinished expansion and I cannot remember any other time that etiher D1 or D2 was in this kind of bad state.
