As it is implemented, I don't enjoy it. In six months your time spent grinding is pointless also. The thing that would make me grind is if I can overlevel and actually feel I have more power, then I would grind. Now Power is mostly to hinder you getting to run more difficult activities. As the game is becoming more and more difficult for every release, I don't chase more difficult activites, and if I would want it, I can just choose a more difficult version in the GUI anyway to get even more annoying bullet sponges that already are in the "easier" activities.
