Listen, the new grind and absolutely bullshit bullet sponge enemies are the worse. But the new enemies for the Fallen and Vex are a welcomed surprise, that along with the Fallen having a new look to fit the area that isn't something stupid simple like the Shadow Legions "We're purple now" is really nice. Portal was something Destiny needed for a while and I'm happy something like it exists. Doesn't mean I'm happy with the direction though. I've been advocating for a long time that Bungie NEEDS to return to patrols and expand upon them, giving them not only better missions but increasing what can be done and even their size I agree this is not a good time for Destiny. The expansion, while good story wise, has brought a lot of annoying and outright terrible changes that punish the common player for just playing. Bungie making every enemy a bullet sponge has really killed any will I've had to go through content because I don't want to waste 10min plinking away at a miniboss. What we had before was fine, all they had to do was add some system that would scale encounters to the level of the player if they were over the cap
