need forgotten account unlinked
im wanting to play destiny 2 on my PC but with my xbox characters, in order to set up cross save to do so, i need to authenticate every account that is linked to bungie. the problem is that i forgot my oldest account info , meaning i cant authenticate my account and in turn , cannot set up cross save.
i need bungie to override and unlink my forgotten account for me so that i can start where i left off. the game is years old and filled with content i dont have time to catch up to my 4+ YEARS of progress.
please help.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Since March 25th's [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url], only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the old platform account in question will remain linked. Your only recourse is to contact the support team for that platform in the hope of recovering the account.
