What's Going On in PvP?

Crucible seems to be in the worst state ever: so much lag... Players having a second advantage and kill you with a ttk 0 1 second with any weapon. Bad matches synchronisation....... I don't know what it is, but crucible feels more broken then ever.

  • Yeah, as a PvP player, Bungie has completely left us behind. The signs couldn’t be clearer. It’s a mess—you load into a PvP match and have no idea what the time-to-kill is anymore, what the ability balance looks like, or what to expect at all. Bungie once said they wanted to remove RNG from the Crucible—no more things like Hawkmoon’s random bullets or Final Round perks. But now? They’ve built an entire sandbox full of RNG. Tripmines can one-hit, some weapons have absurdly low TTKs (as low as 0.3 seconds), and exotics are influencing abilities to the extreme. It’s honestly kind of funny. Bungie used to follow a cadence: release a DLC, then fix Crucible the following year. Now I understand why they haven’t promoted Crucible at all in this DLC—it’s because they knew it would set the community on fire, and they still don’t have a meaningful answer for how to fix it. At least we’re at the point where it’s obvious: all their focus and effort has gone into PvE. And hey, that part of the game turned out great. The PvE crowd is happy. They got what they wanted… right?
