PS5 servers are still throwing up beaver codes whenever I load into any area with other players, and have been consistently like this for the past two months. My network can handle streaming D2 and large MMOs just fine, but I’m kicked after 10 seconds in the Tower in D1. I bought this game again because I felt nostalgic and wanted to give it a shot on PS5 (I’ve had to retire the console I originally played it on), but it’s beginning to look like it has been a waste of money.
In the network help page, bungie recommends changing your network to an open NAT. Few other online games recommend this, because it leaves your network vulnerable to cyber attacks. I’m not going to put every device on my network at risk just because I want to play a game that I paid for. I’ve tried resetting my router and my console, I bought a booster, I messed with vpns, cycled between different ghz settings, and nothing has worked. Wired connection took away a chunk of the errors, but it’s not feasible long term due to the layout of my house.
I’ve loved this game since I was a kid, I bought it the first week it came out and I wish it had a larger fanbase, but it’s just become completely unplayable on my console

I've been having Error Code Beaver for PS4. Haven't been able to get into the tower or 6v6 crucible. Internet connection is great and is not the issue for my end. Reef, Strikes, 2v2 Crucible, Iron Temple, Patrol Zones (including up to 5 players in the Archons Forge) have all worked fine. But for some reason the tower and crucible 6v6 is constantly spitting out error codes.
