What was the point? You release a dlc and then reset everyones power level to 10, but then make all dungeons and raids 200 power.
So the audience that you're attempting to attract can't do the "free" dungeons because they will not be 200 power level and more than likely won't be before the week is over.
I tried to do sundered doctrine and instantly got 1 bursted by an Attendant. Yeah being 190 power levels below will do that, but 1) why does the activity not tell you the recommended power level anymore? Saying it's "hard" with a -10 power delta means nothing. If anything it sounds like you'll be -10 no matter what. 2) why do you have to grind to max power to realistically do the content we have had for years again? We killed the biggest threats to the universe but aren't allowed to do multiple year old activities effectively because, reasons? I gave up with the dungeon because doing the zoetic lockset when the standard red bar enemies 1 burst you is just not worth the time.
Bit of a rant, but honestly the whole "free week of dungeon keys" was more of a rug pull than anything. It'd be really interesting to see the numbers on how many people who haven't purchased the dungeon keys, cleared any of these dungeons during this week.

As of the update today at 5pm UK time 19/07/25 it looks like they are disabling grandmaster nightfalls until a later undisclosed update. Don't shoot the messenger. Just read it on the patch notes 😉

They have to replace content with equal value or its a lawsuit.

Edited by Lord Kielron: 7/18/2025 9:44:12 PMYeah it’s definitely obnoxious. Was trying to do some of the ones that weren’t available last week, like Warlords Ruin, and I just can’t stay alive for nothing. I did encounter a funny bug though. If I was light level 79, the adds would come up even with me. But if I was below that number or above it, all adds were swords. Think I’m about ready to give up trying to do it. Got 4 days left, and I’m not going to get enough levels to do it. Sucks but nothing I can do about it. Would have been nice if they kept explorer for it, but what can you do

You need to understand your fun isn't their concern. Only the maximization of your engagement to improve odds of completing micro-transactions is. Somewhat ironic how "The Secret Science of Gaming" written by, I believe, a former Bungie staff member perfectly describes where bungie is now
