Bungies new Universal Difficulty

To start- The benefits-This is a massive bonus, The long time destiny fans now have other factors in life in addition to players that do other things in life. A universal difficulty allows for all of them to group up and play together despite dozens of grinding hours between them. It also allows destiny to be difficult instead of Power level reliant meaning the content is only hard for those under the time dedication threshold. The problem- Due to the lack of light level activities increasing power doesn’t seem as important or rewarding, Due to the level restriction (-10) Power feels irrelevant, it’s a bit confusing as to wether you should have your weapon as your highest light items or if damage is averaged and funneled through light level, The game has become more difficult making all rewards others unlocked prior feel unfair. (Essentially it feels like everyone cheesed the raid for all of the rewards while you were at work but now it’s been patched and you have to do it the “legit” way.) My complaints- Bungie simply failed at difficulty scaling here. The LAST thing that can be modified to increase a game’s difficulty is enemies Damage and health, The alteration of these stats show the complete inexperience at play when scaling difficulty. The hardest content of Destiny was never about “More hp and dmg” it was the mechanics and interplay. This universal change undermines the community with a lazy “difficulty” enhancement which is more clear as they simply reduce your max light to emulate difficulty spikes. Very -Very uninspired work, Hurts the community as a whole and the only reward goes to the person that thought it was a good idea.
