You know what’s funny about this? The grind to “really” level up is still doing…. ENCORE! That’s literally all there is to do if you want to truly level up the fastest. Portal sucks, fireteam ops LITERALLY THE WORST. No matchmaking except for featured. Dumb dumb dumb.

11 RepliesWhy is anyone suprised by this?? Bungie had already recognised 50 plus issues that they said they would be working on, and [i][b]some [/b][/i]may be fixed by July 29th. But they can always disable stuff in the blink of an eye when it actually has a positive inflence to a players game, such as taking out the Third Iteration from the raid race, and now the Encore mission and grapple ability. And let's not forget, the scout rifle, exotic mission and grapple ability are [b]NOT [/b]issues. They are all things designed and put into the game by Bungie, and are working perfectly as intended. Because the game isn't tested properly or the devs cannot play the game that they [i][b]themselves [/b][/i]actually developed, the more intelligent player base have to be penalised, once again, for having too much fun and progressing through the game too fast. And they tried to sell this worthless expansion on the basis that it gives players the freedom to play how they choose 🤬🤬

Can u imagine playing an old activity to help u level up in a new DLC and have them remove it because it leveled you too fast? With dlc sales being the lowest ever, bungie still making bad decisions to push the remaining players they have away!

Bungie should have left the encore mission until the raid release. Allow anyone to benefit until that time. Quickly removing it while the elite raiders, streamers etc already got the benefit just shows how bungie is more interested in certain players than others. Its always been this way. Actions speak way louder than words. -
You need to understand your fun isn't their concern. Only the maximization of your engagement to improve odds of completing micro-transactions is. Somewhat ironic how "The Secret Science of Gaming" written by, I believe, a former Bungie staff member perfectly describes where bungie is now

The whole purpose of these changes was to slow down players progress. They don't want it, they need to keep the playerbase trapped in a fomo infinite grind simulator.

Bungie's Mantra - if it is fun we need to find a way to make it less fun or eliminate the fun all together.

And now there is a section of the player base at a disadvantage. Bungie screws up and the customers suffer. They should have announced the issue so most players would be in the know. Then set a date for the fix. That would have been the fair thing to do.

More bad sentiment from the average player base, more perceived pandering to the streamer elite and absolutely ZERO options to remedy the situation. The player power gap is real as of now, and will remain so. I thought the house was pretty well on fire, but I guess they had a room full of fireworks in there too… What’s next?

Removed because is Bugged, stop Cry. Ppl basically Exploiting on spamming to get over 300 powerlvl because ppl no know play normal, every time ppl need glitch and cheat.
