The Hierarchy of Needs had a performance downgrade now in Edge of Fate.
Previously, seeking projectile hits with the Bow could refresh the Prophetic Vector buff timer that reduces draw time/reload speed and keeps the duration going longer. Now the buff duration is capped at 5 seconds and doesn’t refresh it with seeker projectile hits, leaving the bow feeling worse because now the player wielding the exotic will have a narrower window for DPS with their initial Guidance Ring before having to deploy a new one. Not to mention, having to deploy a new one takes more time to set up now with the Bow’s inherently long draw time because the buff cap, making it unreliable for harder difficulty.
Also, The tracking on the missiles is also greatly reduced. Used to be you could fire blindly in the general direction of a group of enemies until the missiles cleared the field- it was what made the exotic good.
Adding Gjallarhorn-like functionality is cool and all, but it doesn’t perform as well to the player when you need to hit all your shots. They track horizontally very poorly and the new delay between the shot and seeker is too long, resulting in many misses. This wasn't the case before. The change to the ring counter is nice but on net, I think it is worse/harder to use than before. It also requires a full draw to trigger the seekers which wasn't the case before.
