  • You can take a look at it... Personally, I see this new mechanic as degradation. The upcoming "Edge of Fate" items will have a maximum of 15% damage reduction and 10% weapon damage. That's an advantage. And a disadvantage for those who can't or won't use it. I doubt that it will be easy to assemble the right set. And that from now on, every six months. I can't imagine that every Destiny 2 player has the time for that. Just to be fair, there might be a workaround, but that's still suboptimal. What bothers me is that Bungie wants the expiration and the grind. Instead of creating content so good that everyone wants to play the game without end. Revenant and Heresy were moderate. And judging by that, I don't expect a change with "Edge of Fate." Bungie always makes the same. That's their formula, and people buy it, more or less. Recently less, and that for a reason. The company is ruined. It has lost its soul and heart a long time ago. Bungie really exaggerated it. And that brought them back to year one. From now on, it's the same model of content packages again. One has to realize it's about survival for them. With Marathon on hold, every other IP gone, and only Destiny 2 left. And for that, they're making it so easy for their clients... For tomorrow, lots of luck!
