I launch the game and made it to the character select screen before suddenly crashing. I relaunch, and the same thing happens just moments before the character select. It has not stopped crashing in exactly that screen since, and I haven't made any system changes since I've last played. I also have not had any crashing issues before this; my specs handle the game just fine. I've tried restarting everything, verifying game files through steam, reinstalling the game, and using cmd prompt to scan for corrupted windows files. Old reddit posts (like the one below) seemed to point towards an old audio bug, so I followed their guidance and changed my default audio outputs, but that hasn't worked either.
