I can't personally confirm you can but I'm betting it does still drop if you meet it's requirements. I base my bet on the fact that plenty of older Trials rewards and emblems are still obtainable. I didn't have Light for the Lost, Flawless Empyrean, or Sunward Ordeal until this season and got them all from my first five streak Lighthouse visit. Older ships, shaders, sparrows and ghosts are still obtainable. Also, Destiny Emblem Collector says Dazzling Iridescence is still obtainable.
