What is the effect of platform account deletion on Cross Save?
Hello!
I am considering deleting my Xbox/Microsoft account at some point in the future as Playstation has become my primary gaming platform and I’m wondering how this could effect on my D2 characters. Xbox is selected as my Cross Save choice so would the deletion of that account break this and effectively delete my progress?

So, the deletion of your XBOX account will cause you to lose access to your characters, regardless of Cross Save status. Additionally, you do not appear to have Cross Save enabled, according to the game API. Please note that in order to make changes to your Cross Save configuration, you must be able to authenticate all linked accounts. If you are not able to authenticate them because the account is deleted, your Cross Save becomes locked and cannot be changed.
