The Nine have always been some of the most mysterious beings in the Destiny universe — ancient, formless intelligences born from the physics of the universe itself.
But with so much focus on The Witness and the Final Shape, it feels like the Nine were left behind…
Until now.
With the events of Echoes and the lead-up to Edge of Fate, Bungie is dropping subtle hints that the Nine still have a crucial role to play — maybe even in how the next age of Destiny unfolds.
🧠 In this video, I break down:
The complete timeline of the Nine, from Destiny 1 to Season of the Drifter, Prophecy Dungeon, Xûr’s past Heresy and now Edge of Fate.
How they connect to Dark matter, paracausality, and interstellar consciousness.
Why their return could shape the events of Edge of Fate — especially in a universe trying to rebuild itself.

What are the Nine shaping reality through?[/quote]
Would love to hear your thoughts. Do you think the Nine are friend, foe — or something else entirely?

I have a theory. They want us at keplar to handle a problem for them and see if they can control us as a perfect weapon. We are being tricked and the nine or atleast some of them seek control of the universe and if they want ultimate control a powerhouse guardian would be a great tool. But in order to find out what they truly want we must first walk into the trap.
