Constant "Broccoli" error messages since changing GPU

Hey all, So, I've just upgraded from a 3070ti 8gb to a 4070 Super 12gb, since I've changed I keep getting Broccoli error messages, I've done a DDU, changed the windowed optimization mode to off, deleted the CVARS, everything I can find, I've even lowered the frame cap and GFX settings in-game, nothing is working. No other games I own have this problem, the error happens between 5-20 minutes of playing. I'm at my wits end, especially considering I pre-ordered the Edge of Fate ready for next month. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hello there! Have you managed to solve the problem? If it is still relevant, then the problem is in the driver. You need to install driver version 576.28 and then the problem will disappear. I myself encountered this problem (I haven't entered the game for a long time), RTX 4060 and the driver was the latest (576.52). Tried 576.66 (hotfix), the problem remained. Haven't tried 576.80 yet. Installed 576.28 - the problem disappeared! I hope this helps someone else who stumbles upon this topic looking for a solution.

    • Hi there, Error code: BROCCOLI signifies a problem with the detection of the player’s GPU, often due to a driver crash. To try and resolve this issue, players are advised to keep their Operating System and Graphic Drivers updated to the most recent version. If you haven't already, we recommend that you update your graphics card drivers directly from the manufacturer’s website. This will ensure you have the most up-to-date drivers and can help resolve these types of issues. You may want to try the following steps as well:
1. Enable "Game Mode" in Windows 10 or, if you already have "Game Mode" enabled, try disabling it. 2. If you use EVGA Precision for overclocking, you may want to disable that since it doesn't play well with Destiny 2. MSI Afterburner might be a good alternative to use. 3. In your Settings, cap your framerate to keep GPU usage below 90% to see if this helps. 4. If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, see if the card stabilizes using NVIDIA's temporary debug mode. 5. Some players have reported that a mild underclock for GPU clock of around -100MHz and GPU memory around -50MHzz may help with this issue.
