Cross save problem
Im having a problem with cross save. I want my existing Xbox save to transfer to my PS save but unfortunately i already have an old PS save that i cannot acces.
The thing is, the old PS save is last used about 10 years ago so ofcourse I dont have the account data anymore. I cant use the Xbox save file because its asking me to first authenticate the old PS file.
I need that old PS account save deleted so i can acces the xbox save and play it on my PS.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Previously, you had to be able to authenticate all linked platform accounts in order to unlink them from your Bungie profile. If some account data had been lost, then unfortunately you wouldn't be able to unlink the affected platform account. However, things have changed recently. Since March 25th's [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url], only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. This means that, even if you could authenticate the PlayStation account, you would not be able to unlink it. As Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the PlayStation account in question will remain linked. That said, you should still be able to access your Xbox characters/progress via your Microsoft account, whether on Xbox or PC.
